Position Summary: A professional with experience in environmental management or OSH&E (Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment) to update legal requirements, manage reports, conduct inspections, supervise waste handling, and carry out environmental monitoring. Collaboration in audits and training on environmental best practices. EXPERIENCE * Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in environmental management or OSH&E. EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree or graduate in Environmental Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related professional disciplines with a focus on resource management. * A postgraduate diploma or accredited specialized courses in Environmental Management, ISO 14001:2015 implementation and internal auditing, or proficiency in Peruvian environmental legislation applicable to the sanitation and industrial sectors is desirable. RESPONSIBILITIES * Update and verify the Legal Requirements Matrix monthly, performing gap analysis to identify new obligations arising from changes in national or regional regulations affecting business continuity. * Draft and manage submission of mandatory reports to relevant authorities, including Environmental Performance Reports and annual declarations, ensuring information accuracy and timely submission in compliance with statutory deadlines. * Conduct scheduled and unannounced environmental inspections at work sites to verify operational effectiveness of controls. Inspection reports—including photographic evidence—and follow-up on corrective actions are required. * Assist in collecting lifecycle waste data within the operating unit—from source segregation to final disposal. This includes supervising temporary storage facilities, coordinating logistics with Solid Waste Operating Companies (EO\-RS), and verifying transport guides and final disposal certificates to ensure traceability. * Supervise environmental agent monitoring campaigns (water quality, air quality, emissions, occupational/environmental noise, and soil), ensuring contracted laboratories comply with sampling protocols and maintain valid INACAL accreditation. * Ensure all documented Environmental Management System information (procedures, management plans, work instructions, and records) remains up-to-date, accessible to relevant personnel, and protected against use of obsolete versions. * Support dynamic updating of the Environmental Aspects and Impacts Matrix (IAIA Matrix), evaluating how operational process changes affect the organization’s environmental risk profile and proposing new preventive controls. * Actively collaborate in preparation and execution of internal, external, and certification audits. After audits, lead technical follow-up to effectively close identified nonconformities, analyzing root causes to prevent recurrence. * Design and deliver induction sessions, technical trainings, and "5-minute talks" focused on environmental best practices, raising staff awareness of resource conservation and pollution prevention. * Supervise maintenance and availability of spill containment kits and emergency equipment. In case of incidents (leaks, spills, or fires), support activation of contingency plans, participate in root cause investigations, and propose improvements to response mechanisms.
