




Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and ensure its operability. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of equipment. 2. Ensure the operability and performance of equipment and tools. 3. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Technician. **Job Description** * Strictly comply with SGS’s and the client’s applicable safety guidelines for assigned tasks. * Carry out duties assigned by the immediate supervisor according to the scheduled maintenance plan, executing daily work orders (WOs) as per specialty. * Perform maintenance tasks (preventive, corrective, and/or predictive, as directed by the immediate supervisor) on pumps, linear screens (AGAs), electrical panels, cabinets, or other equipment assigned to the service. * Maintain the operability and performance of equipment and assigned tools, while also ensuring their safekeeping. * Continuously review procedures, work instructions, and records of the Integrated Management System (IMS), proposing necessary modifications to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness. **Requirements** * Minimum of 3 years’ verifiable experience performing electrical maintenance functions. * Preferably experience working in mining or industrial companies. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electric motors and power transformers; diagnostics of electric motors and power transformers. * Insulation diagnostics using the Baker AWA-IV Megger, applying IEEE 43-2000, ANSI/EASA AR100, and NETA 2013 standards. * Experience using measurement instruments: laser alignment systems, pyrometers, luxmeters, megohmmeters, phase indicators, vibration meters, low-voltage switchgear thermographic analysis (based on NETA standards), earth resistance testers (telurometers), and grounding system maintenance. **Additional Information** * Formal employment contract from day one. * Statutory Life Insurance. * Bi-weekly salary payments. * Ongoing training opportunities. * Corporate benefit agreements.
