A transportation company is seeking a responsible, proactive Freight Transportation Coordinator with industry experience. The candidate must have experience in planning and assigning vehicles to routes required by customers, as well as knowledge of mechanics for preventive and corrective vehicle maintenance. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent communication and leadership skills to direct and motivate their team. REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of technical programs in automotive mechanics (e.g., SENATI or other institutes), administration, or related fields. Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel). Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety procedures (desirable). Willingness to work in the **field** and in the office. Leadership, communication, and teamwork capabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee transportation unit operations and collaborate with the Fleet Supervisor to develop fleet scheduling. Review and analyze daily incident reports regarding units and services. Prepare reports on fuel consumption, maintenance, and fleet documentation. Monitor routes to update customers on delivery status and implement immediate solutions for unforeseen events. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures. Prepare fleet management and control reports. Develop and supervise preventive maintenance schedules for engines, braking systems, suspension, tires, electrical systems, etc. Manage corrective maintenance when failures occur, coordinating with external workshops. Inspect the physical condition of vehicles to minimize the impact of repairs on scheduled routes. Maintain records of repairs, spare parts, and labor. Monitor indicators of vehicle downtime, failure frequency, and repair efficiency. BENEFITS: Inclusion in MYPE payroll. Employment type: Full-time. Salary: Starting at S/.1,700.00 per month.
