Job Summary: A Release Manager who ensures quality, governs changes, and guarantees operability and value capture in production, integrating policies and standardizing processes. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure quality and stability of production deployments. 2. Govern and standardize change control (CAB, CI/CD, traceability). 3. Ensure service operability and adoption for value capture. **Date:** Apr 30, 2026 **Location:** LIMA, Peru **Company:** Alicorp S.A.A. **What will be your challenge?** This role has three objectives related to the release lifecycle execution. 1\. Ensure quality before production The Release Manager must guarantee that each deployment meets functional, technical, and security quality criteria before reaching production. This involves orchestrating compliance with standards and deliverables based on policies, procedures, and expert-domain controls. Their role is not only coordination but also ensuring no critical debt compromises stability—reducing post-release failures and protecting business operational continuity. 2\. Govern and standardize change control A key objective is to establish and enforce a robust release governance model, integrating CAB, CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and change traceability. The Release Manager ensures all changes are documented, approved, and aligned with the roadmap, preventing unauthorized releases. Additionally, they drive process and tool standardization to achieve consistency, effective auditing, and scalability across multi-platform environments. 3\. Ensure operability and value capture in production The Release Manager must ensure an effective transition into operations, including mechanisms that accelerate cutover, ensure hypercare, and transfer functional/technical knowledge to end recipients—securing service operability and sustainability. Their focus does not end at deployment but extends to guaranteeing that the service is operable, sustainable, and adopted by the business. This directly connects to value capture, measuring post-release outcomes and promoting continuous improvement based on metrics and incidents. **What will you do in your role?** * Integrate policies, procedures, and expert-domain controls, and govern them through deliverables, checkpoints, and acceptance criteria. * Define controls and deliverables according to solution design complexity (not all releases undergo the same level of control), using methodology, metrics, and traceability. * Maintain the release roadmap, dependencies, deployment windows, and alignment with business value. * Ensure quality, security, and governance definitions are integrated into every project from early stages. * Drive standardized controls, versioning, and auditability across multiple platforms (SAP, SaaS, etc.). * Ensure transfer of functional and technical knowledge, documentation, monitoring, support, SLAs, and operational readiness before Go-Live. * Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical, operational, and business risks associated with each release. * Orchestrate releases across hybrid environments: on-premise, SaaS (IBP, Ariba, SF), cloud, and external vendors. * Define and monitor KPIs: lead time, failure rate, MTTR, adoption, post-release incidents. * Ensure the release is not only deployed but also transferred to recipients to sustain service continuity in production and enable adoption (operations, applications, processes, data). **What do we need from you?** * Technical/University Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering / Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration * Complementary Studies: Scrum, Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, SAP, Azure DevOps, GitHub. * Frameworks/Reference Models: Solid understanding and at least 1 year of hands-on experience with ITIL, DevOps, COBIT, DevSecOps, Agile, SAFe * Minimum 4 years of experience in roles related to multi-environment release management, versioning, functional configuration, and/or technical change control/governance on SAP platforms * Minimum 2 years of experience in roles related to technical change control/governance for open-source or proprietary software products/applications managed via code repositories (e.g., GitHub, Azure Repos, etc.) * Software Proficiency: Desired familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) at the change manager level * Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience in release management, CAB processes, risk analysis, auditing or compliance activities, deployment management platform administration, and data design/analysis on management platforms (Power BI, Monday, Grafana, others)
