Job Summary: The Technical Draftsperson is responsible for preparing technical drawings and graphical documentation for projects, equipment or structural fabrication, installation, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop manufacturing, assembly, and detail drawings according to specifications. 2. Perform 2D and 3D modeling using specialized software. 3. Coordinate with production to ensure correct interpretation of drawings. **Primary Function** The **Technical Draftsperson** is responsible for preparing the technical drawings and graphical documentation required for project development, equipment or structural fabrication, installation, and maintenance within the company. **Specific Functions** 1\. **Prepare Technical Drawings** · Develop manufacturing, assembly, and detail drawings according to specifications. · Interpret sketches, preliminary designs, and technical specifications. 2\. **Update Documentation** · Modify existing drawings according to project changes. · Maintain an up-to-date drawing documentation database. 3\. **Modeling and Design** · Perform 2D and 3D modeling using specialized software. · Generate views, sections, isometrics, and technical exploded diagrams. 4\. **Production Support** · Coordinate with production to ensure correct interpretation of drawings. · Resolve technical observations related to dimensions or design. 5\. **Field Survey** · Conduct measurements at plant sites or client facilities. · Record dimensions for preparation of as-built drawings. 6\. **Technical Support** · Provide graphical support to commercial, engineering, and industrial project departments. · Prepare drawings for quotations or technical presentations.
