Knowledge of scaffolding safety standards and procedures **Job Description:** GAMT, an engineering company specializing in applied solutions for mining, energy, and industrial sectors, is currently seeking a Scaffolder to join a project at a mining unit. **Requirements** * Minimum education: Completed secondary education and/or technical training in Mechanics or related fields. * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scaffolder, including proven experience in mining projects or units. * Valid certification in erection and dismantling of scaffolding systems such as ULMA, Layher, PERI UP, or similar. * Knowledge of safety standards and procedures applicable to scaffolding erection, use, and dismantling. * Residence in Cajamarca (desirable). * Availability to start work from September 2026\. Main Responsibilities * Execute layout, erection, modification, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding according to manufacturer specifications and established safety procedures. * Verify ground conditions, support points, and work area prior to erection. * Determine appropriate scaffolding location and configuration, considering site conditions and required work tasks. * Inspect scaffolding system components before, during, and after use, identifying conditions that may compromise safety. * Perform storage, organization, and preservation of scaffolding components. * Comply with safety, occupational health, and mining unit-established standards. * Carry out minor mechanical tasks related to project works when required. **Conditions** * Employment type: Project-based contract. * Location: Mining unit. * Estimated start date: September 2026\.
