Description

Job Summary: Develop and manage technical specification sheets for knitted garments, integrating flat-bed machine processes with handcrafted development to ensure the product's technical feasibility. Key Responsibilities: 1. Prepare comprehensive technical specification sheets for knitted garments. 2. Interpret customer requirements and translate design into production. 3. Coordinate with key departments to ensure technical alignment. Develop, structure, and control technical specification sheets for fashion knitted garments, integrating flat-bed machine processes with handcrafted development based on interpretation of customer specs, photos, and references. The role aims to ensure that each design is translated into a technically viable, measurable, and producible product—with precision in material consumption, measurements, post-wash behavior, and process sequence—guaranteeing seamless coordination among Development, Production, Commercial, and Planning teams within a highly variable manual environment. Key Responsibilities (operational focus) • Prepare comprehensive technical specification sheets for knitted garments, incorporating flat-bed machine processes, crochet development, embroidery, and manual applications according to each design’s complexity. • Interpret customer requirements from English-language specs, photos, and references, identifying construction, materials, implicit processes, and technical development criteria. • Translate design into production by defining the garment’s actual technical construction, as well as the location, type, attachment method, and incorporation sequence of crochet, embroidery, and applications—ensuring production viability and on-time delivery. • Develop the technical BOM, including yarn consumption, materials for embroidery and applications, trims, and auxiliary materials—accounting for shrinkage and manual variability. • Define assembly sequence, process routes, and realistic standard times—especially for manual operations and mixed-development combinations. • Monitor pre- and post-wash measurements, shrinkage, consistency between sample and production, and final behavior of embroidery and applications on finished garments. • Maintain ongoing coordination with Commercial, Development, Internal and External Production, and Planning teams to ensure technical alignment throughout product development and execution. Work Location: On-site employment
