




Position Summary: Supervise and ensure strawberry production, meeting quality, yield, and traceability standards for IQF plant supply and export. Key Highlights: 1. Involves planning, soil prep, irrigation, and pest control Plan, supervise, and guarantee strawberry production complying with quality, yield, and traceability standards to ensure continuous supply to the IQF plant and export markets. Responsibilities: Crop Planning * Develop planting schedule. * Define planting density. * Schedule production campaigns. * Estimate yield per hectare. Soil Preparation * Conduct soil analysis. * Adjust pH level. * Apply organic matter. * Install raised beds and mulch. * Install drip irrigation system. Irrigation and Fertigation Management * Schedule irrigation according to phenological stage. * Monitor electrical conductivity (EC). * Apply balanced fertilization. * Track water consumption. Phytosanitary Management * Continuously monitor pests (mites, thrips, aphids). * Control diseases (botrytis, powdery mildew, rots). * Apply authorized products. * Comply with SENASA regulations. * Implement integrated pest management (IPM). Growth and Production Supervision * Evaluate vegetative development. * Monitor flowering and fruit set. * Measure Brix degrees (sweetness). * Control fruit size and firmness. Harvest Supervision * Schedule daily harvest. * Supervise field selection. * Ensure proper handling to prevent damage. * Reduce losses. * Guarantee fruit suitable for IQF freezing. REQUIRED PROFILE Education: * Licensed and registered Agronomic Engineer. * Minimum 2 or 1 year of experience in strawberry crop management. * Experience in agro-export (desirable).
