Professional development opportunities At MAFIE SAC, a solid waste operating company with 21 years of leadership in integrated waste management and valorization, oriented toward circular economy and Zero Waste to Landfill, we are seeking top talent for the position of JUNIOR SSOMA SUPERVISOR. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering. Minimum 1 year of experience in the solid waste sector. Occupational safety and health training courses. Courses or diplomas on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and environmental regulations. Knowledge of ISO 9001\-2015, ISO 14001\-2015, ISO 45001\-2018, ISO 37001\-2016, and ISO 53800:2024\. Knowledge of first aid. Hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures. Availability for on-site work in Ventanilla. Working Hours: Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Main Responsibilities: Coordinate and supervise compliance with the Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System (SSOMA). Monitor the company’s solid waste disposal practices. Conduct internal inspections and follow-up on substandard conditions and acts. Carry out procedures required by the Environmental Management Department. Verify and control proper documentation and records of the area. Prepare activity reports and summaries. Ensure, through coordination and supervision, that workers and contractors comply with procedures and properly manage SSOMA documentation. Deliver training sessions, inductions, and safety talks to staff. Monitor implementation of the Annual Occupational Safety and Health Program. Participate in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (IPERC). Supervise emergency equipment, signage, and solid waste management. Coordinate wellness activities such as active breaks and internal campaigns. Support management of PPEs and implementation of safety and environmental improvements. What do we offer?
