Job Summary: DEL ANDE ALIMENTOS S.A.C. is seeking a Quality Assurance Assistant to verify compliance with food safety and quality standards in the production of frozen products. Key Responsibilities: 1. Verify compliance with GMP, SSOPs, and food safety procedures. 2. Monitor control points in the IQF process and perform quality controls. 3. Support internal, customer, and certification body audits. **DEL ANDE ALIMENTOS S.A.C.**, an agro-industrial company dedicated to the processing and export of frozen (IQF) products, is seeking top talent to fill the following position: QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT **Main Responsibilities** * Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SSOPs, and other food safety procedures throughout the entire production process. * Conduct quality and food safety inspections in raw material receiving, processing, packaging, storage, and dispatch areas. * Monitor compliance with established control points in the IQF process. * Perform quality controls on in-process and finished products, verifying compliance with customer specifications. * Record inspection and control results in designated forms. * Promptly report deviations, non-conformities, and incidents identified during the process. * Follow up on corrective and preventive actions related to quality and food safety. * Verify hygiene conditions of personnel, equipment, and facilities before, during, and after processing. * Supervise compliance with cleaning and disinfection procedures. * Support internal, customer, and certification body audits. **Position Profile** * Graduate or bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Microbiology Engineering, or Biology. * Minimum 6 months of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control departments within food or agro-industrial plants (experience in IQF plants preferred). * Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOPs), and HACCP. * Familiarity with prerequisite programs, food safety, and quality management systems. * Preferred knowledge of BRCGS, FSMA, GlobalG.A.P. standards and current sanitary regulations. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Willingness to work in Chancay – Huaral and perform rotating shifts. * Responsible, organized, proactive individual with analytical ability and teamwork skills.
