We are looking for a **LINEMAN TECHNICIAN** available immediately Requirements * Technician in Telecommunications, Networks, Electronics, Electricity or related fields. * Optical fiber splicing (certification desirable). * Operation of optical measurement equipment. * Minimum 1 year of experience in optical fiber splicing or related work. * **Valid driver's license preferred** * Must reside in areas near Comas, Surquillo or Cercado de Lima Responsibilities * Perform optical fiber splices using fusion techniques and conduct tests with a power meter. * Certify optical links to ensure appropriate power levels. * Install ADSS, drop, OPGW or other types of fiber cables according to project requirements. * Install NAP boxes, splice closures, branch points and optical distribution points. * Use specialized tools and equipment: fusion splicer, power meter, cleaver, stripper, etc. * Respond to reported faults and perform emergency repairs. * Update infrastructure records, coordinates, routes and performed splices. * Prepare test, measurement and activity reports. * Comply with safety procedures and standards (working at heights, handling optical fiber, PPE). * Verify proper sealing and waterproofing of splice closures to prevent moisture damage. * Identify field risks and report incidents or findings. * Drive the vehicle for staff transportation.
