We are looking for a **FUSION SPLICER TECHNICIAN** available immediately Requirements * Live in areas near Comas, Surquillo, or Cercado de Lima * **Technical degree in Telecommunications, Networks, Electronics, Electricity, or related fields.** * Specialized courses in optical fiber splicing (certification desirable). * Proficiency in using OTDR and optical measurement equipment. * Minimum 1 year of experience in optical fiber splicing or related work. Responsibilities * Perform optical fiber splices via fusion and conduct reflectometry (OTDR) and power meter tests. * Certify optical links to ensure appropriate power levels. * Install ADSS, drop, OPGW, or other types of fiber cables according to project requirements. * Install NAP boxes, splice closures, branch points, and optical distribution points. * Use specialized tools and equipment: fusion splicer, OTDR, power meter, cleaver, stripper, etc. * Perform preventive maintenance on boxes, splice closures, and optical routes. * Respond to reported faults and carry out emergency repairs. * Update infrastructure records, coordinates, routes, and performed splices. * Prepare test reports, measurement reports, and activity reports. * Comply with safety procedures and standards (working at heights, handling optical fiber, PPE). * Verify proper sealing and waterproofing of splice closures to prevent moisture damage. * Identify field risks and report incidents or findings.
