**Location:** Arequipa
**Job Purpose:**
Plan and coordinate on-site assistance to meet the needs of our contracted customers — including parts contracts or field-based technical support agreements — through Metso solutions, managing technical support, product and service supply, as well as evaluating and updating key operational and strategic parameters of the concentrator plant(s) under responsibility; ensuring compliance with Quality, Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management System guidelines, and supervising that personnel under direct supervision also adhere to such guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Conduct scheduled visits to assigned customer plants per contract to collect operational data and identify customer opportunities/needs, which will be coordinated with respective internal departments.
Support the account sales representative in agreed-upon in-house activities with the customer.
Responsible for reporting and advising stakeholders on inventory management processes related to usufruct contracts, in coordination with the company’s Contract Administration, Services, and Business Lines teams.
Respond appropriately to customer requests for resources stipulated in the contract governing their presence at the mine, coordinating with assigned warehouse personnel.
Coordinate with the company’s technical departments to develop and track joint proposals aimed at delivering appropriate solutions to customer needs — focusing on verifying alignment between solution scope and customer expectations, particularly regarding spare parts, consumables, and services that may be bundled into spot or long-term service packages.
Collect and relay up-to-date market intelligence on competing products and services that could substitute our offerings.
Provide technical support in tracking new strategic quotations related to services/products tied to assigned contracts.
Maintain contact with customer maintenance, planning, operations, and contracting departments to identify and develop new technical requirements enabling contractual agreements and mutual work commitments.
Hold a minimum of monthly internal organizational meetings to define scopes for potential long-term contracts and spot/relevant order fulfillment, aligned with customer classification.
Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor in accordance with the job role.
**Requirements:**
Graduate, Bachelor’s degree holder, and/or professional with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in the same sector.
Knowledge of concentrator plant maintenance, crushing and grinding equipment, and related processes.
Experience and/or knowledge in reliability engineering and maintenance management.
Familiarity with large-scale mining (Major Customers).
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Intermediate level of English proficiency
