**WELDING ASSISTANT / INTERNSHIP** **Responsibilities:** * Assist the lead welder in welding tasks. * Prepare materials, tools, and equipment prior to welding work. * Perform basic cutting, cleaning, and assembly of metal parts. * Hold and position parts during the welding process. * Carry out simple welding tasks under supervision. * Verify measurements and alignment of parts. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with safety regulations and use of PPE (personal protective equipment). * Assist in basic maintenance of equipment and tools. **Requirements:** * Completed or ongoing secondary education. * Basic knowledge of welding. * Willingness to learn and develop within the welding field. * Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. * Responsibility and punctuality. **Benefits:** * Salary starting at S/ 1,800, with potential increases based on experience and performance. * Payment and recognition of overtime hours, in accordance with applicable law. * First three months under service invoice arrangement; thereafter, formal payroll registration with all statutory benefits. * 50% lunch subsidy, per internal policies and statutory benefits. * Job stability and opportunities for professional learning and growth. **Work location:** * Lurín (Reference: Km 40\) **Working hours:** * Monday through Saturday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. * Regular workday is 8 hours; additional hours will be considered and compensated as overtime, per current regulations.
