Job Summary: We are seeking a technician for comprehensive patient care, including monitoring of vital signs, hygiene, catheter management, medication administration, and injury prevention. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive patient care. 2. Management of catheters and administration of medications. 3. Prevention of injuries and skin care. Required Qualifications for Technical Staff: 1.\- **Vital Signs Monitoring**: Temperature, Pulse, Oxygen Saturation, Blood Pressure. 2.\- **Patient Hygiene**: \- Oral Cavity: Cleaning, use of mouthwash. \- Tracheostomy Tube: Proper cleaning; changing the dressing around the tube; changing the securing strap. \- Body Cleaning: Sponge bath if on day shift. \- Diaper changes as needed to prevent burns; perineal area cleaning. 3.\- **Catheter Management**: \- Nasogastric Tube: For feeding; preparation of formulas; tube cleaning; notification for replacement. \- Urinary Catheter (Foley catheter): Maintenance of patency, as hematuria may occasionally occur; notification for replacement; emptying of collection bag and daily quantification of urine volume. 4.\- **Medications**: \- Administration of medications according to medical instructions; completion of documentation after administration; use of inhalers according to prescribed schedule. 5.\- **Position Changes**: Every 2–3 hours to prevent pressure injuries (bedsores). 6.\- **Patient Lubrication**: \- Ensure patient’s skin remains moisturized during your shift. \- Monitor for any pressure-related injuries (e.g., blisters). 7.\- **Respiratory Airway Management**: \- Ability to suction secretions through the tracheostomy tube. \- Cleaning and maintenance of the suction device. \- Replacement of suction catheters. 8.\- **Proper Use of Latex Gloves**: \- Selection based on body area; avoid transferring contaminating bacteria from one area to another. 9.\- **Social Interaction**: \- Polite, friendly, and respectful communication (e.g., addressing patients as “Mrs.”, “Mr.”, “Young Lady”, “Miss”, etc.). NOTE.\- \* If considering resignation, provide 15 days’ advance notice to facilitate replacement. · Meals provided: breakfast and lunch. · In case of medical leave, notify as early as possible before your scheduled shift and subsequently submit official documentation justifying the need for medical rest and/or treatment.
