Position Summary: We are seeking a Customs Specialist or Customer Service representative for a customs agency to advise clients on customs regulations, manage customs files, and coordinate clearance procedures. Request payments to third parties related to VB, issuance of documents, DTHC, etc. * Forward files to the pickup department after coordinating reception schedules, crew assignments, or any other special service required by the client, ensuring timely notification to said department. * Coordinate and carry out appropriate cargo routing for clients’ shipments. * Check applicable free days for demurrage and storage to keep clients informed and maintain accurate counts to avoid incurring such additional costs. * Submit requests via the VUCE system to schedule SENASA inspections. * Schedule SERFOR inspections. Monitor and control clearance procedures according to established timelines. * Coordinate with Customs Authorities and/or BOE for scheduling physical inspections.
