




Position Summary: We are seeking a Cost Control Engineer to manage budgets, supervise cost systems, analyze trends, and ensure regulatory compliance in projects. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in EPCM projects in mining At AtkinsRéalis Peru, we are currently seeking a Cost Control Engineer. **Responsibilities:** * Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives. * Supervise the cost control system, ensuring all costs are accurately recorded and monitored. * Track committed and executed costs, updating the budget as required. * Coordinate and control the cost change management system to assess the impact of any modifications on the project. * Provide cost trend analysis, identifying and managing variances. * Develop and maintain detailed monthly reports on the project’s cost status. * Monitor and control variances between budgeted and actual costs, proposing corrective actions when necessary. * Establish and maintain a contingency management system to address unforeseen cost events. * Develop and manage definitive cost estimates, applying scalability according to market forecasts. * Control project-related cash flow, ensuring fund availability for execution. * Manage recommendations for contingency utilization based on project performance. * Ensure project costs are managed in accordance with established procedures and accounting regulations. * Conduct periodic cost audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. * Manage impact assessments of budget changes and estimate their financial effects. * Advise the company on cost management to improve resource efficiency and effectiveness. * Preparation and issuance of weekly and monthly service reports for AtkinsRéalis; * Review of daily contractor reports; * Conduct mileage-based analysis for payment of unproductive hours to the contractor; * Comply with and enforce company procedures. * Comply with the company’s quality management system guidelines applicable to the position and area. * Other duties related to the responsibilities of the position. **Requirements:** * Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related fields. * Minimum 8 years of experience in similar positions. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Knowledge of Project Management and PMI certification. * Experience in EPCM projects in mining. * Software: Intermediate MS Office. * Availability to work under the specified employment regime. **Process:** * Applications are accepted exclusively through our corporate careers portal; applications received via other channels will not be considered. * We will contact only shortlisted candidates for interviews. * Relocation expenses are not covered.
