JOIN OUR TEAM! – ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT We are looking for a responsible, analytical, and committed Accounting Assistant who will provide operational and technical support to the accounting department. We seek a candidate with solid knowledge of accounting processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately, ensuring proper recording, control, and organization of financial information. Position Objective Provide accounting support to the department, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, proper preparation of subsidiary ledgers, and orderly maintenance of financial documentation, contributing to the reliability of accounting statements. Education * Technical or university studies in Accounting (ongoing or completed). Experience * Between 6 months and 1 year of experience in accounting roles, document recording, and use of accounting systems. Technical Skills * Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel. * Knowledge of accounting and tax documents. * Familiarity with accounting systems, preferably STAR SOFT. * Knowledge of withholdings, receivables, certifications, and reconciliations. Competencies * Organization, responsibility, and commitment. * Speed and accuracy in accounting entries. * Good communication and willingness to work in a team. * Attention to detail and document organization. Responsibilities * Record basic transactions and simple accruals: purchases, operating expenses, and petty cash payments. * Organize, digitize, and classify accounting and tax documents. * Assist in bank and petty cash reconciliations. * Review and manage withholdings, receivables, and certifications. * Enter data into the STAR SOFT system following internal templates. * Prepare and update accounting ledgers as required. * Safeguard physical and digital files of the accounting department. * Provide direct support to the accounting analyst and the department in general.
