**Job Description** We are looking for a **graduate or undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering** who wishes to specialize in **production processes** within our **custom carpentry plant**. You will have the opportunity to actively participate in continuous improvement, planning and supervision of projects, working in direct coordination with the design team and master carpenters. **Requirements** * **Graduate or undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering.** * **Minimum of 1 year of experience** in plant, site or production process supervision (ideally in carpentry, metalworking, construction or manufacturing). * **Management of production processes** and time control. * **Planning and monitoring of production.** * Intermediate knowledge of **Excel** and management tools (schedules, reports, indicators). * Ability to coordinate with technical and operational teams. * **Analytical, organized, proactive profile with good communication skills.** * **Practical attitude and results-oriented.** * **Immediate availability** and willingness to work **onsite at the plant.** **Responsibilities** * Supervise project progress within the plant. * Plan and coordinate furniture deliveries with the design department. * Report progress, delays and identify bottlenecks in processes. * Propose and implement improvements to optimize time and resources. * Ensure compliance with schedules and quality standards. * Other related duties. **Conditions:** * Work mode: Onsite * Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm * Location: Av. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Constantly coordinate with the quality department supervisor regarding scheduled tasks within the area. * Constantly coordinate with machining supervisors regarding urgent matters during working hours. * Perform duties according to the quality department procedures or specific instructions from the quality supervisor. * Interpret detailed technical specifications on drawings to determine which controls are most critical and least critical. * Review, analyze, and validate quality certificates of raw materials by comparing technical specifications on drawings and/or material standards (AISI, SAE, AWS, ASTM). * Prepare quality reports after performing dimensional inspections on parts. * Conduct technical visits and quality control inspections at supplier facilities when necessary. * Perform dimensional control of complex parts in coordination with the quality supervisor. * Carry out non-destructive testing on parts undergoing welding processes and/or third-party services when required. * Accurately read and interpret manufacturing drawings. * Monitor the assembly process of mechanical components. * Document details or observations related to potential issues detected during assembly using photographs and/or appropriate diagrams. * Maintain constant coordination with the quality analyst. * Ensure proper use of measuring equipment. * Other duties assigned by immediate or higher supervisors. REQUIREMENTS: * Graduate of a technical program in production mechanics, industrial production and management, or university degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, mechatronics engineering, or related fields. (Mandatory). * Knowledge in quality management, metrology, machining processes, and reading/interpretation of hydraulic diagrams. * 1 year of work experience in quality control within the metal-mechanical sector. * Availability to work in Chorrillos from Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 6:36 pm.
