**EMASA PERÚ** is looking for a **COMEX Coordinator** to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and comprehensively manage import operations, ensuring compliance with established timelines from purchase order issuance through goods delivery.
* Manage coordination with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, carriers, and internal departments involved, ensuring operational continuity.
* Manage and control import-related documentation, ensuring its integrity, accuracy, and compliance with applicable customs and regulatory requirements.
* Optimize import shipment planning and consolidation, contributing to the efficiency of the import factor.
* Monitor and manage costs associated with import operations, identifying variances, overcosts, and optimization opportunities.
* Manage information and traceability of import operations, ensuring timely and reliable updates across all stages and statuses.
* Manage and resolve documentary, logistical, customs-related, and regulatory incidents arising during import operations.
* Administer import operation data within the COMEX platform, ensuring data integrity and availability for management and tracking purposes.
* Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
* Minimum **2 years of experience leading teams**, in Foreign Trade, Imports, or International Logistics.
* Experience managing end-to-end import operations.
* Knowledge of nationalization processes and customs requirements.
* Experience coordinating with international suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and carriers.
* Knowledge and handling of import documentation.
* Experience in tracking and controlling import costs, freight charges, port expenses, and overcosts.
* Intermediate-level Excel proficiency.
* Experience with or familiarity with foreign trade management platforms.
* Experience with products subject to Mandatory Sanitary Notification (NSO). (Desirable)
