Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant Manager of Textile Development to join our export-oriented company, leading new model development and optimizing production processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. New model and prototype development 2. Process optimization and quality control 3. Interdepartmental coordination in textile production We are **WASKA SAC.**, a textile export company with over 20 years of industry experience, and we are recruiting an Assistant Manager of Textile Development to join our team. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * New model development: preparation of technical specifications, samples, and prototypes until approval * Fabric, yarn, and trim consumption calculation and control per model * Fabric testing and validation with weaving departments (grammage, shrinkage, and color fastness) * Size grading and pattern coordination with the cutting department * Time and motion study: line balancing, efficiency improvement, and waste reduction * Monitoring production order progress by process * Support in in-process and finished product quality control * Coordination among weaving, cutting, sewing, and finishing departments; production reporting to management. **REQUIREMENTS** * Experience: Minimum 2 years in textile or garment production (product development, methods, or planning) * Education: University degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or Garment Manufacturing * Knowledge: Technical specifications and consumption calculations, time and motion study, textile quality control * Proficiency in production orders management and intermediate Excel; ERP knowledge preferred * Residence in the vicinity of Villa El Salvador * Availability for on-site work **BENEFITS** * Salary: S/ 1,800 \- S/ 2,200 (based on experience) * Bi-weekly payment (mid-month and month-end) * Formal payroll from day one under the MYPE regime (small business): bonuses, CTS (Compensatory Severance Pay), vacation benefits as per regulation, ESSALUD, SCTR, and family allowance * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:36 p.m. (weekends off) Salary: S/.1,800\.00 \- S/.2,200\.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
