**PROCUREMENT ANALYST**
**BLESOLA IMPORT EXPORT SAC**, a steel industry company with over 24 years in the market and major clients in the Mining, Oil & Gas, Fishing, Metal-Mechanical, Construction, General Industry, and State contracting sectors, is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of “Junior Procurement Analyst”. **Position Purpose:**
To lead the analysis, control, and optimization of the procurement process, ensuring operational efficiency, cost sustainability, and strategic decision-making.
**Work Opportunity:**
The position offers the opportunity to assume a strategic role within the procurement department, actively participating in decision-making and in cost and process optimization. The professional will have direct visibility into the department’s overall management, leading indicator (KPI) monitoring, critical data analysis, and development of high-impact managerial reports.
**Responsibilities**
* Generate, validate, and issue purchase orders, contracts, and commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with specified requirements and conditions.
* Schedule and manage fulfillment of customer purchase orders, guaranteeing timely supply and adherence to deadlines.
* Analyze procurement requirements from Sales and Warehouse departments, ensuring appropriate procurement planning and operational continuity.
* Conduct comparative analyses and evaluate supplier quotations based on cost, quality, delivery time, and commercial terms.
* Continuously coordinate with Sales, Import, Warehouse, Finance, and Dispatch departments to ensure logistical process efficiency.
* Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms with suppliers, ensuring competitive and sustainable conditions.
* Evaluate, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers based on performance indicators (quality, cost, on-time delivery, and service level).
* Analyze price trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
* Manage and monitor departmental KPIs, ensuring achievement of savings, efficiency, and service-level objectives.
* Design and optimize management dashboards and reports (Power BI / Excel), providing visibility and decision-support.
* Identify KPI deviations and lead corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Propose and implement cost reduction (cost saving) strategies and expenditure optimization.
* Prepare executive reports for management, including analysis, conclusions, and actionable recommendations.
* Participate in defining and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and process improvements.
* Integrate digital tools, automation, and artificial intelligence to optimize departmental management.
* Serve as backup to the Procurement Manager, ensuring operational continuity and decision-making support.
* Other strategic functions inherent to the position.
**Requirements**
* Degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain, with emphasis on analysis and management.
* Advanced Excel proficiency (data modeling, pivot tables, KPIs).
* Power BI proficiency (intermediate/advanced level preferred).
* Experience managing KPIs, dashboards, and managerial reports.
* Solid knowledge of supplier negotiation and cost analysis.
* Knowledge of International Trade preferred.
* Experience in process improvement and management control preferred.
