Job Summary: We are seeking support staff for mechanical maintenance of heavy machinery and digital fleet control, providing assistance in preventive and corrective maintenance, and managing the digital equipment history. METRACON INGENIEROS S.A.C., a Peruvian company with over 16 years of experience in large-scale earthmoving and infrastructure projects, requires **support staff for mechanical maintenance of heavy machinery and digital fleet control**. This position will provide direct support to the **lead mechanic** in preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, as well as in the **digital recording of the maintenance history for the company's entire fleet**. Main ResponsibilitiesMechanical Support * Support the lead mechanic in **preventive and corrective maintenance** of heavy machinery. * **Oil, filter, lubrication changes, and general equipment inspection**. * Support in repairs of: * excavators * motor graders * front-end loaders * backhoes * Support in maintenance of: * dump trucks * trucks * pickup trucks * Daily basic equipment inspection. * Reporting of detected mechanical failures. Maintenance Control and Management * Digital recording of the **maintenance history of each piece of equipment**. * Control of: * operating hours * mileage * maintenance performed * upcoming scheduled maintenance * Control of **repairs carried out and spare parts used**. * Updating the **digital life record of each piece of equipment**. * Preparation of maintenance reports for the Operations Manager. Required Skills **Technical** * Basic knowledge of **heavy machinery or automotive mechanics**. * Basic knowledge of **hydraulic systems and diesel engines**. * Basic proficiency in **Excel or digital maintenance control systems**. * Ability to record technical equipment information. **Personal** * Orderliness and discipline in information management. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Ability to work in a team. * Proactivity in identifying mechanical issues. Requirements * Technical graduate or student in: * automotive mechanics * heavy machinery mechanics * industrial maintenance * Minimum experience: **1 to 2 years** in machinery or vehicle maintenance. * Basic proficiency in **Excel or digital recordkeeping**. * Driver's license preferred.
