Analytical, organized profile with proactivity for continuous learning. **Company:** KOELSA PERÚ SRL **POSITION PROFILE: MAINTENANCE PLANNING ASSISTANT** Provide support to the maintenance department through planning, scheduling, and monitoring of maintenance activities for heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring work order control, adherence to established schedules, and proper management of technical information—contributing to equipment availability and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. **Responsibilities:** * Support the development and updating of the maintenance plan for machinery and equipment. * Schedule and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Develop and update maintenance schedules and equipment shutdown plans. * Register, update, and control work orders in the maintenance management system. * Coordinate with the workshop for execution of scheduled tasks. * Support monitoring of equipment operating hours, downtime, and availability. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly planning and maintenance reports. * Support continuous improvement of planning and maintenance control processes. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor related to the position’s mission. **Competencies:** Profile with analytical and organizational capabilities, oriented toward order, control, and deadline compliance; maintains effective communication and sound teamwork skills; demonstrates proactivity and willingness for continuous learning, as well as responsibility and attention to detail in information management and maintenance activity tracking. **Education:** Graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Completion of courses and/or training in maintenance planning and control, asset management, or reliability is desirable. **Knowledge:** * Basic knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance planning and scheduling. * Basic knowledge of heavy machinery (loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, trucks, and similar equipment). * Basic understanding of maintenance indicators such as availability, reliability, MTBF, and MTTR (desirable). * Basic proficiency in IT tools, especially Excel at basic or intermediate level (desirable). * Basic familiarity with maintenance management systems or ERP systems (desirable). * Basic knowledge of work order control and spare parts management. **Specialization:** * Courses and/or training in maintenance planning and control, asset management, or reliability, totaling a minimum accumulated duration of 100 hours. (OPTIONAL) * Complementary training in IT tools applied to maintenance and/or CMMS/ERP systems, totaling a minimum accumulated duration of 60 hours. (OPTIONAL) **Years of Experience:** * Minimum required experience, which may include pre-professional internships, professional internships, or initial experience in planning or maintenance areas. * Experience in heavy machinery, fleet, or industrial equipment maintenance workshops is desirable. * Experience in developing and monitoring preventive, corrective, or predictive maintenance plans is desirable. **Skills:** * Analytical ability, organizational skills, and information control capability. * Responsibility and commitment to completing assigned tasks. * Proactivity and willingness for continuous learning. * Good communication and teamwork capabilities. * Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with operational departments.
