Ongoing training and professional development Clínica Chorrillos is seeking a Nursing Technician. Requirements * National Nursing Technician diploma. * Diploma registered with the Ministry of Education (MINEDU). * Minimum of **one (1) year** of experience in clinics or hospitals. * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Commitment to service, responsibility, empathy, and teamwork. * Proficiency in managing clinical records and nursing documentation. Knowledge and Responsibilities * Providing comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. * Receiving, orienting, and preparing patients for medical procedures. * Measuring and recording vital signs. * Administering medications according to medical prescriptions and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. * Assisting physicians during consultations, minor procedures, and wound dressings. * Preparing procedure rooms and consultation offices. * Preparing, cleaning, and restocking medical supplies and materials. * Washing, disinfecting, and organizing surgical instruments. * Supporting minor medical and surgical procedures. * Operating basic biomedical equipment. * Establishing peripheral intravenous access (in accordance with institutional protocols and permitted competencies). * Assisting with specimen collection and auxiliary examinations. * Safely transporting patients within the clinic. * Monitoring patient condition and promptly reporting to the responsible healthcare professional. * Adhering to biosafety and infection control standards. * Proper classification and disposal of biohazardous waste. * Managing inventory of medications, supplies, and materials. * Timely documentation of performed activities. * Providing warm, humane, and respectful treatment to patients and their families. * Complying with institutional protocols, regulations, and standards.
