




We are seeking the best talent for the **CHEF** position at one of our partners in the district of **SAN BARTOLO**, ensuring efficient and courteous service to visitors. **Responsibilities:** * Prepare, cook, and present dishes from the establishment’s menu or à la carte offerings. * Organize daily kitchen staff tasks according to workload volume. * Verify adherence to recipes, portion sizes, presentation standards, and flavor profiles. * Supervise proper food handling, storage, and rotation (FIFO). * Ensure cleanliness and order throughout the kitchen area before, during, and after service. * Prepare base ingredients (mise en place) to ensure smooth service operations. * Coordinate delivery timing with reception, dining room, or respective departments. * Supervise proper use of equipment, utensils, and machinery. * Submit purchase requests based on operational needs. * Receive and inspect supplies delivered by vendors (quality, weight, temperature). * Maintain daily inventory control of food, cleaning supplies, and tableware. * Report shortages, losses, shrinkage, or products nearing expiration. * Ensure appropriate storage of refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods. * Supervise kitchen staff and assign duties (assistants, helpers, etc.). * Train personnel in culinary techniques, hygiene, and internal procedures. * Verify compliance with work schedules, breaks, uniforms, and internal policies. * Report staff incidents or policy violations to management. * Maintain an orderly, respectful, and disciplined workplace environment. * Comply with and enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). * Supervise cleaning and disinfection of areas, utensils, cold rooms, and equipment. * Monitor cooking, storage, and service temperatures. * Perform any other duties assigned by your direct supervisor. **Requirements:** * Completed technical training in culinary arts * Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar positions * Customer service skills and problem-solving ability * Residency in nearby areas **Competencies:** * Customer orientation * Problem solving * Planning and organization * Collaborative work * Proactivity **Benefits:** * Positive work environment * Meals provided * Ongoing training * Corporate discounts Employment type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,500.00 – S/.2,700.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
