**Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and supervise the entire cold rack production process, from drawing preparation to final delivery. * Coordinate with Engineering and Logistics regarding material, component, and technical documentation availability. * Assign tasks and manage plant personnel (welders, technicians, electricians, assemblers). * Ensure compliance with technical and quality standards at all manufacturing stages. * Monitor production timelines and manage key performance indicators (productivity, rework, efficiency). * Supervise daily progress and prepare reports for the Operations Manager. * Resolve technical issues arising during manufacturing or coordinate with Engineering for resolution. * Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Supervise preliminary functional testing of racks prior to shipment or installation. * Validate correct usage and completion of technical forms and quality checklists. **Secondary Responsibilities:** * Monitor and improve production processes, proposing continuous improvement actions. * Coordinate internal training sessions when new equipment or procedures are implemented. * Support the Engineering department in reviewing drawings or making minor design adjustments. * Collaborate with Logistics and Procurement to prioritize critical components during bottlenecks. * Participate in internal or external audits related to quality or safety. * Accompany the project or installation team during tests, validations, or specific inquiries regarding the manufactured rack. * Maintain order and operational discipline in the production area. * Verify availability and good condition of tools and equipment used in manufacturing. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** * Five years of experience in the refrigeration industry (not mandatory). * Proven experience in cold rack manufacturing. * Proven experience in plant-based production mechanics and quality control. * Experience in production planning and control. **Required Knowledge:** * Refrigeration system design. * Cold rack or refrigeration plant design. * Quality control in production processes. * Proficiency in ASHRAE standards. **Desired Skills:** * Ability to read mechanical drawings. * Ability to read electrical drawings. * Intermediate-level proficiency in AutoCAD software. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks, including 3D design and assembly modeling. * Familiarity with Danfoss CoolSelector software.
