If you possess the qualities and drive to lead teams, positions are ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. **Job Description:** **FORKLIFT ASSISTANT** **EDUCATION:** Completed high school **EXPERIENCE** * One (01) year of experience in similar roles within warehouses engaged in storage and distribution of healthcare-sector products: pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostic reagents, and others. * Experience operating forklifts, electric stackers, and electric lift trucks. **ROLE – PURPOSE** Responsible for handling all merchandise using the electric stacker (receiving, sorting, storing, dispatching, arranging) and maintaining warehouse stock in good condition, ensuring cleanliness and order. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** This description reflects the essential responsibilities, functions, and competencies of this position. Additional responsibilities and/or duties consistent with the role may be assigned as deemed appropriate: * Operate the forklift–lift truck to stack containers. * Report any technical or mechanical failures of the forklift to your immediate supervisor by completing the daily checklist. * Clean the forklift once per week. * Store pallets in designated high-level locations. * Move pallets within the warehouse to various positions. * Handle merchandise in the reconditioning laboratory area. * Load and unload containers. * Perform operational tasks—including receiving, verification, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch—during hours when the electric stacker is not in operation. * Other duties not otherwise specified, as expressly assigned by the employer or direct supervisor. **WORKING CONDITIONS:** * Work performed in the districts of Punta Hermosa and/or Lurin.
