Job Summary: A leading company in the mining sector is seeking a Mining Planning Engineer to plan and manage the execution of planning programs that ensure the continuity and profitability of the Mining Unit. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the implementation of Safe Work and coordinate with operational areas. 2. Monitor the progress of production plans and generate technical reports. 3. Manage costs and budgets for mining operations. A leading company in the mining sector is currently seeking a **Mining Planning Engineer** to plan and manage the execution of scheduled planning programs in accordance with the guidelines and standards set by the Supervisory Authority, ensuring operational continuity, related studies, and the profitability of the Mining Unit. Located 4 hours from Huancayo, Junín, at an altitude of 4,800–4,900 meters above sea level. Current work regime is 20 days on / 10 days off, with formal employment registration for the mining professional. **Requirements:** * Licensed and certified Mining Engineer. * Experience in managing mining legislation. * Minimum of 3 years in similar positions within open-pit mining companies. * Experience in managing and monitoring operational KPIs, mining methods, geotechnics, designs, block models, processing plants, among others. * Short-, medium-, and long-term mining operations planning for open-pit operations. * Experience in cost and budget management. * Proficiency in planning software. * Technical report writing and presentation skills. * Availability to work under the mining work regime (20 days on / 10 days off). * Drone operation capability. * Valid driver's license. **Responsibilities:** * Lead and achieve comprehensive implementation and expectations of Safe Work. * Coordinate and develop, together with operational areas, the planning, monitoring, and control of various plans agreed upon between operations and Management. * Supervise and control the progress of the mine’s production plans. * Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production forecast compliance. * Plan and organize the database of programs, results, and area KPIs. * Review and update the annual reserve inventory to establish general guidelines for short-, medium-, and long-term planning. * Manage costs and budgets.
