Job Summary: We are seeking a Safety Engineer for an open-pit gold mining operation, with direct enrollment in the payroll of the mine's owner/operator and full statutory benefits. Key Highlights: 1. Accommodation, meals, and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided at the mine camp ***Safety Engineer*** for the Corihuarmi Mining Unit, located 4 hours from Huancayo, Junín, at an altitude exceeding 4800 msnm. Current work schedule is 20 days on / 10 days off, with a gross salary of **S/2,500.00**, **NON-NEGOTIABLE**. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in open-pit mining operations. * Registered and licensed professional engineer. This vacancy offers direct enrollment in the payroll of the mine's owner/operator — NOT a contract position — and provides all statutory benefits applicable to a private company (CTS, AFP/ONP, bonuses, family allowance for your children, etc.). Salary payments are made during the first few days of the month following the month worked. For example: October’s salary is paid in early November; November’s salary is paid in early December, and so on. We are an open-pit gold mine located 4 hours from the city of Huancayo, at an altitude of 4900+ msnm. Here we provide accommodation, meals, and personal protective equipment (PPE) at the mine camp. The internet available on-site is not very robust and therefore does not support video calls or WhatsApp calls, nor any other internet/cellular applications. Some employees have jointly arranged for private internet access, but this is a personal decision and at individual expense.
