Job Summary: We are seeking a technician or engineer for chemical analysis of samples, gold and silver fire assays, and metallurgical analyses. Key Highlights: 1. Chemical analysis of samples 2. Metallurgical test analysis **Profile**: * Chemistry Technician or graduate in Chemical Engineering and/or Metallurgy. * Minimum 3 months of experience in chemical analysis of samples and/or 1 year in sample preparation. * Knowledge of sample preparation. Knowledge of gold and silver analysis by fire assay. * Must reside in Trujillo or be willing to relocate. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform sample weighing and acid digestion for analysis. * Perform rolling and weighing of doré bars. * Perform chemical attack of doré bars to determine gold grade. * Perform digestion for volumetric analysis to determine copper, lead, and zinc. * Conduct metallurgical test analyses. * Determine cyanide strength and consumption of NaOH and NaCN. **Benefits:** * Formal employment under the general regime. * Night shift bonus. * 100% covered meals. * Life insurance.
