**Job Description:** Café París de Huancayo is seeking a highly motivated and passionate **Head Chef** with a strong background in gastronomy to join our team and lead food preparation for our customers. We are looking for an experienced culinary professional with leadership skills who shares our commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise and lead food preparation according to café standards. * Ensure all dishes meet high-quality standards and are served in accordance with established recipes and timing. * Manage inventory of supplies and place orders for products as needed. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization in the kitchen. * Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth workflow. * Comply with food safety and hygiene regulations. * Monitor dish presentation prior to service to customers. * Ensure proper use of kitchen equipment. * Perform any other kitchen-related tasks assigned. **Requirements:** * Minimum of **1 year** of experience as Head Chef or in a similar position. * Knowledge of preparing national and international dishes (preferred). * Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Commitment to quality and customer service. * Knowledge of and adherence to food hygiene and safety standards. * Availability to work Monday through Saturday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Technical or university studies in gastronomy. * Experience in high-volume kitchens or in café- or fast-service restaurant settings. * Knowledge of healthy cooking or special diets (optional). * Proactivity and creativity in developing new dishes or menus. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Positive work environment. * Opportunities for career growth within the company. * Ongoing training.
