Contribute to continuous improvements in extraction and transportation processes. **Date:** 14 May 2026 **Location:** 14 \- LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are seeking a **Mining Engineer (Trainee)** **– Mining Unit:** **Key Responsibilities:** * Collaborate in the collection and analysis of operational data, generating reports on mining process performance. * Participate in the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mining equipment, in coordination with the maintenance team. * Conduct regular inspections of mining operations, verifying compliance with safety and quality protocols. * Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvements in mineral extraction and transportation processes, working jointly with the engineering team. * Collaborate in training operational staff on best practices and technical procedures, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement **Professional Profile:** * University graduate in Mining Engineering. * Minimum 1 year of experience. * Knowledge of and experience handling explosives and accessories available in the market. * Familiarity with mechanized jumbo equipment, with at least 6 months of experience. * Specialized courses in Drilling and Blasting (preferred). * Basic knowledge of PyV KPIs such as: Load Factor, Power Factor, and steel performance. ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any type of payment to participate in its selection processes.
