**Important Information** Location: Peru **Job Summary** At **Encora**, we are seeking a **QA Engineer (19083)** with solid expertise in functional testing and quality assurance methodologies. This role involves designing, executing, and documenting test cases, ensuring application quality and collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments. **Responsibilities and Functions** * Analyze, design, execute, and document **test cases**. * Perform functional testing using **white-box** and **black-box** approaches. * Validate requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. * Participate in agile processes (**Scrum**) and collaborate with development teams. * Manage incidents and reports in **Jira**. * Use **Gherkin language** to define test scenarios. * Manage repositories in **Bitbucket** and version control with **Git**. * Execute SQL queries for data validation. **Requirements and Skills** * Graduates in Computer Science, Software Development, or related fields with +3 years of experience in QA/Software Quality Testing. * Solid knowledge of **ISTQB** (certification is a strong plus). * Basic knowledge of **test automation** and coding concepts. * Experience with **Jira**, **Bitbucket**, and **Git**. * Proficiency in **Gherkin language** for BDD testing. * Experience in functional testing and agile methodologies. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Knowledge of **SQL** (basic statements). * Plus: experience with **AS400**. **Additional Requirements** * Familiarity with test automation tools and CI/CD pipelines. * Knowledge of testing frameworks and QA best practices. **About Encora** Encora is the preferred digital engineering and modernization partner for some of the world’s leading enterprises and digital-native companies.
