This combined with our growth opportunities, makes Newmont a great company to work for. * People: Our goal is to maximize the competitive advantage we realize through our people. * Health & Safety: Our goal is to achieve zero harm. * Operational Excellence: Our goal is to create a culture of continuous improvement. * Growth: Our goal is to deliver profitable production gains. * Sustainability and External Relations: Our goal is to gain access to land, resources, approvals, and capital. ##### **Purpose:** * You will ensure the safe and efficient control of water treatment processes, using real-time monitoring systems to anticipate failures, minimize risks, and ensure discharges meet environmental standards. ##### **As part of our team** * You will monitor and adjust operational variables at the plants. * You will respond to alarms and coordinate actions during emergencies. * You will ensure equipment lockouts and isolations for maintenance. * You will manage real-time data using PI, SCADA, and Power BI systems. * You will prepare incident reports and compliance documentation. ##### **Requirements to succeed in this role** * Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in mining and 1 year or more in Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, or HDS plants. * Knowledge of processes, P&ID interpretation, and control philosophy. * Proficiency in software: Office, PI, SCADA, Power BI. * Intermediate English (desirable). ##### **Your work environment** * Work at height (+3600 m above sea level) with rotating shifts. * Control room environment requiring high concentration and data analysis. * Collaborative team focused on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. * Constant challenges requiring proactivity, resilience, and effective communication.
