This combined with our growth opportunities, makes Newmont a great company to work for. * People: Our goal is to maximize the competitive advantage we realize through our people. * Health \& Safety: Our goal is to achieve zero harm. * Operational Excellence: Our goal is to create a culture of continuous improvement. * Growth: Our goal is to deliver profitable production gains. * Sustainability and External Relations: Our goal is to gain access to land, resources, approvals, and capital. ##### **Purpose:** * You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of water infrastructure, directly supporting environmental compliance and operational continuity of our mining operations. ##### **As Part of Our Team** * You will manage maintenance schedules for water systems (pipelines, pumps, treatment plants) * You will monitor water quality and flow to ensure compliance with standards * You will coordinate repairs with internal teams and external contractors * You will implement preventive measures on critical assets * You will document maintenance activities and generate performance reports * You will provide training and guidance on safety and best practices * You will control the maintenance budget and optimize resource utilization * You will conduct inspections and apply necessary improvements or repairs ##### **Requirements to succeed in this role** * University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with current professional registration. * Proven experience in industrial plant maintenance. * Solid experience with SAP. * Tracking of maintenance management indicators according to corporate standards. * Skills to solve problems and make effective decisions. * Knowledge of environmental regulations and audit processes. * Practical judgment and proactive approach to technical challenges. * Communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to prepare technical documentation and clear reports. ##### **Your Work Environment** * You will perform your duties at our Yanacocha operations under a 4x3 rotational schedule, which may be adjusted according to operational needs. * Altitude greater than 3600 m.a.s.l. * Dynamic challenges in a technological innovation environment. * Culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
