Position Summary:
A professional with experience in customs agencies responsible for reviewing and settling DAMs, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational coordination in international trade.

1. DAM Review and Settlement
2. Operational Coordination for Smooth Customs Clearance
3. Regulatory Compliance and Contingency Identification
**. Responsibilities:**
**DAM Review:**
Verify correct tariff classification, customs valuation, and application of duties and taxes.
**Duty and Tax Settlement:**
Calculate customs duties, IGV (General Sales Tax), IPM (Import Processing Fee), and other applicable charges in accordance with current regulations.
**Documentary Control:**
Validate that supporting documentation meets legal and operational requirements.
**Regulatory Compliance:**
Ensure operations comply with SUNAT provisions and customs regulations.
**Contingency Identification:**
Identify risks in declarations and propose corrective measures.
**Operational Coordination:**
Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, and Pre-approval Units to ensure smooth customs clearance.
**. Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree or graduate in Administration, International Business, International Trade, Law, or related fields.
**EXPERIENCE**
* Minimum 5 years of experience in customs agencies.
* Proven experience in DAM review and settlement.
* Experience delivering training to team members.
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE**
* Peruvian Customs Legislation (General Customs Law and its Regulations).
* Tariff Classification (Harmonized System).
* Customs Valuation (WTO Agreement on Implementation of Article VII of the GATT 1994).
* Customs Regimes.
**TOOLS**
* Proficiency in Sintad, SUNAT Web Portal, Veritrade.
* Intermediate-level Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
**Salary:**
**S/ 3,000 – S/ 3,500** depending on experience

Hybrid
* Partial remote work.
* On-site work at the office.
