Position Summary: We are seeking an Inventory Ledger and Inventory Analyst to manage and control the valued inventory of a textile company, ensuring data accuracy. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage and keep the valued inventory ledger up to date. 2. Reconcile the inventory ledger with Accounting and Warehouse departments, supporting the accounting closing process. 3. Analyze discrepancies and prepare inventory reports for management. A textile company specializing in the manufacturing and commercialization of jeans is looking for a professional to fill the position of Inventory Ledger and Inventory Analyst. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum of **2 years** of experience as an Inventory Ledger Analyst, Inventory Analyst, or Inventory Accounting Analyst—mandatory experience in textile or garment manufacturing companies. * Knowledge of inventory management systems and valued inventory ledgers. * Understanding of production and inventory costing. * Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel. * ERP system experience. **Responsibilities** * Manage and maintain the valued ledger for raw materials, fabrics, denim, trimmings, accessories, work-in-process, and finished goods. * Record and control inventory receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and adjustments. * Verify correct valuation of inventory movements. * Reconcile the inventory ledger with Accounting and Warehouse departments. * Analyze discrepancies between physical inventory and system records, proposing corrective actions. * Prepare inventory and valuation reports for Management. * Participate in periodic and comprehensive physical inventory counts. * Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Logistics, and Accounting departments to ensure data accuracy. * Support the monthly accounting closing process related to inventory. Desirable experience includes controlling: * Denim and other fabrics. * Trimmings (zippers, buttons, rivets, labels, threads, interlinings, etc.). * Work-in-process (cutting, sewing, washing, finishing). * Finished goods. * Losses and waste. * Inventory valuation and production costing. * Cyclical and comprehensive inventory counts.
