Job Summary: Electrocom Ingenieros is seeking a structural designer for the design and manufacturing of electrical transmission towers, steel frames, and accessories, with a focus on modeling, documentation, and continuous improvement. Participation in internal projects and process improvement. Electrocom Ingenieros is a Peruvian company with over 34 years of experience. Our work involves engineering and manufacturing of electrical transmission towers, steel frames up to 500KV, respective accessories, and supplying grounding systems for electrical and telecommunications systems. **Main Responsibilities:** 1\. Creation of structural models in TEKLA. 2\. Adherence to company design procedures and criteria. 3\. Generation of detailed drawings from models. 4\. Preparation of fabrication drawings (detail) and assembly drawings (general), including exploded views and bills of materials (BOM). 5\. Quantity take-offs generated from 3D models. 6\. Preparation of technical documentation related to product design. 7\. Research and development of new design techniques and products. 8\. Management and control of generated documentation. 9\. Participation in various activities related to the company’s internal projects. 10\. Proposal of improvements to area procedures, protocols, and instructions. 11\. Compliance with company policies, procedures, regulations, as well as RIT and RISST. 12\. Other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Technical or university degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of experience as a structural designer. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla Structures (mandatory). * Ability to read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings. * Knowledge of steel structures and manufacturing processes. * Proficiency in quantity take-offs and material breakdown.
