We invite you to join our team as ***Data Steward Medium*** **What profile and knowledge are required?** * Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * 2–4 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management. Experience in the financial sector (mandatory or highly valued). * Experience working under agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Understanding of squad operations and roles (PO, SM, Data Engineer, etc.). * Strong business orientation, with ability to translate business needs into data requirements. * Experience managing stakeholders (Data Owners, business users, technical teams). * Experience defining and managing Critical Data Elements (CDEs). Knowledge of data traceability, data lineage, and metadata management. * Experience defining and monitoring data quality rules. Familiarity with governance frameworks (DAMA/DMBOK) and data architecture guidelines (desirable). Knowledge of data ecosystems (DWH, Data Lake, Azure, Databricks) and intermediate SQL (reading/analysis). * Proficiency in management tools (Jira or others) **Special consideration will be given to candidates who:** * Possess skills such as assertive communication, proactivity, commitment, teamwork, and self-learning. * Are passionate about technology and accustomed to working toward objectives. * Are interested in developing their professional career in highly competitive environments with high growth potential. **Responsibilities:** * Act as the liaison between business and technology within the squad, aligning data needs with product objectives. * Serve as the first point of contact for the business, understanding requirements and jointly prioritizing them with the squad. * Ensure functional understanding of data (definitions, business rules, context). Identify, define, and manage Critical Data Elements (CDEs) within the domain. Implement and ensure compliance with the Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Security methodology. * Define, validate, and monitor data quality rules, managing incidents and improvement plans. Ensure data traceability and lineage from source to consumption. * Manage documentation and metadata (definitions, origin, usage, lineage). Coordinate with squad roles (Data Engineer, PO, etc.) to ensure correct implementation of data solutions. * Promote a data-driven culture and use of data in decision-making.
