Key Responsibilities: 1. Leads and supervises blasting operations in the field. 2. Ensures compliance with safety standards and protocols. 3. Verifies the quality and efficiency of the blasting process. **Responsibilities:** * Provides instructions to the field team regarding tasks to be performed in the blasting zone. * Submits requests for raw materials and supplies to inform the respective supervisor. * Inspects blasting operations before, during, and after execution to ensure compliance with established requirements. * Checks the condition of equipment, electronic detonators, and the availability of personnel to ensure efficient blasting operations in accordance with Enaex standards. * Programs electronic detonators using equipment following established protocols. * Provides instructions to the field team regarding tasks to be performed in the blasting zone. * Submits requests for raw materials and supplies to inform the respective supervisor. * Inspects blasting operations before, during, and after execution to ensure compliance with established requirements. * Checks the condition of equipment, electronic detonators, and the availability of personnel to ensure efficient blasting operations in accordance with Enaex standards. * Programs electronic detonators using equipment following established protocols. * Conducts reconciliation of accessories used to control efficient product usage. * Verifies primer quality, loading control, and borehole stemming to ensure correct blasting execution. * Compares borehole and pattern conditions against the corresponding tie-in plan to ensure proper blasting execution. * Coordinates resource allocation with the supervisor for blasting execution. * Guides and corrects actions that do not conform to borehole loading protocols or unsafe behaviors. **Requirements:** * Four years of experience in blasting operations. * Knowledge of explosive types and properties is desirable. * Three years of experience leading blasting processes is desirable. * Certification in electronic detonator programming systems is desirable. * Bachelor's degree or graduate in Mining Engineering
