You will be responsible for supporting and conducting laboratory metallurgical testing to assist customer projects, all in accordance with Quality, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Systems. You will prepare client reports according to project progress. What You’ll Do Perform laboratory tests required by the client, following applicable standards and procedures. Coordinate test execution with the laboratory manager. Deliver reports and documentation related to performed tests. Be familiar with quality management system procedures, instructions, and standards in daily activities to ensure service quality delivered by the company. Inspect equipment prior to commencing activities. Maintain laboratory equipment and areas in an orderly and clean condition. Assess the need for replacement of laboratory instruments and consumables, alerting the supervisor about required supply purchases. Who We’re Looking For Technical graduate in Chemistry, Metallurgy or related fields, or an Engineering degree. 6 months of work experience in metallurgical testing. General knowledge of mineral processing. Familiarity with laboratory equipment. Knowledge of metallurgical testing. Intermediate-level Office software skills (not mandatory). Driver’s license A\-1 preferred. Resident of Arequipa with availability to work in La Joya. **Additional training:** handling of hazardous chemicals and preference for MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), hazard identification, risk assessment and control (IPER), inspections, operational risk analysis (ARO), personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency response. Strong communication skills, proactivity, good teamwork, and analytical ability.
