Our culture is characterized **Your Mission** Provide specialized technical support for the use of drilling tools and rock drilling methods, and for drilling equipment in mining operations; identify the appropriate method and components required for each drilling and ground support operation; evaluate and propose suitable drilling and ground support options; evaluate, in the field, the installation and correct performance of ground support elements through pull-out tests using specific equipment for each application. Support our customers in selecting the appropriate drilling and ground support products to help them make optimal decisions during procurement and after-sales processes, operating under the highest service standards—with quality, economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and above all, safety. Issue reports through technical data collection, information analysis, and results investigation; provide internal and external training support. **What will be my responsibilities?** * Conduct scheduled field technical assistance visits, coordinated with the customer’s maintenance team. * Prepare technical reports corresponding to work performed during technical visits. * Provide recommendations regarding changes needed due to wear or poor condition of drill beam components that could cause premature damage to the drill string. * Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for grinding machines (GM HG, BQ3, GM Jazz). * Conduct performance testing of drill column components. * Issue clear, timely (and pedagogical) reports of obtained results. * Prepare technical reports to determine the root cause of premature rejection of drill steels. * Understand and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics for proper maintenance of grinding equipment (GM HG, BQ3, GM Jazz). **The ideal candidate for this position:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering // Technical Diploma in Mining Exploration or Mechanical Maintenance. * Minimum 2 years’ experience in underground mining (knowledge of drill steels required). * Knowledge of mining exploitation methods and applications. * Knowledge of rock drilling methods and applications (TH, DTH). * Knowledge of manual and mechanized rock drilling equipment. * Driver’s license AIIB (desirable). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office at user level. * Basic technical English (desirable). **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition and our cities and infrastructure must be developed to serve a growing population.
