Job Summary: We are seeking an HSE Monitor/Assistant to verify compliance with safety standards, inspect work areas, and support occupational safety and health management in construction and earthmoving projects. Knowledge of high-risk tasks A reputable construction and earthmoving company is seeking an HSE MONITOR/ASSISTANT for La Joya-Arequipa. RESPONSIBILITIES: Continuously verify correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct visual inspections in the field. Identify and report unsafe acts and conditions. Support development and validation of ATS and IPERC documents. Supervise compliance with established safety controls. Maintain constant communication with supervisors and workers. Support 5-minute safety talks. Verify signage and area demarcation. Control order and cleanliness in work zones. Support high-risk activities: Excavations, Lifting operations, Work at height, Electrical work, Heavy machinery operation. Report incidents, near misses, and deviations. Verify safe conditions of tools and equipment. Support during SSOMA inspections and audits. REQUIREMENTS: Technical or university graduate in safety, environment, or related fields. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in civil works, construction, or earthmoving. Field experience supporting SSOMA supervision. Knowledge of high-risk tasks. KNOWLEDGE: Law No. 29783 – Occupational Safety and Health Law. Regulation D.S. 005-2012-TR. IPERC. ATS / PETS. Incident and accident investigation. High-risk tasks. Solid waste management.
