Job Summary: We are seeking a Wet Chemistry Analyst to perform chemical analyses and ensure result quality in a gold ore processing laboratory. Key Highlights: 1. At Grupo La Joya Mining, a company dedicated to gold ore collection and processing, we are looking for top talent to fill the position of Wet Chemistry Analyst. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Metallurgy, or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in chemical laboratories at mineral processing plants or metallurgical laboratories. Knowledge of wet chemical analysis methods applied to gold and silver solutions and samples. Proficiency in reagent preparation, titrations, and analytical quality control. Familiarity with safety standards and chemical substance handling protocols. Intermediate-level Office software proficiency. Availability to work under non-standard employment arrangements. Main Responsibilities: Perform wet chemical analyses on samples from the plant, internal control, and commercial areas, ensuring reliable and timely results. Prepare solutions, reagents, and chemical standards according to established procedures and laboratory operational requirements. Carry out sample digestion, dilution, titration, and treatment processes, ensuring correct application of analytical methodologies. Verify the quality and consistency of obtained results through analytical controls, blanks, duplicates, and standards. Record, validate, and report analytical results, ensuring traceability and integrity of generated information. Maintain laboratory order, cleanliness, and operational conditions, strictly complying with safety and environmental regulations. Monitor appropriate use of laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment, ensuring their preservation and availability.
