




Job Summary: We are seeking a Flotation Operator to ensure reagent dosing, process control, and maintenance of the area at the mining camp. Key Highlights: 1. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A FLOTATION OPERATOR AT THE MINING CAMP! At MINERA VALE UN PERU, we know that behind every successful operation are committed individuals who ensure everything runs on time. Therefore, we are seeking 1 FLOTATION OPERATOR. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Technician or Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, or related fields. Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years in concentrator plants (with proven experience operating flotation cells). Control of operational variables (density, particle size distribution, recovery). Reagent dosing and preparation (xanthates, frothers, collectors). Experience with polymetallic minerals (desirable but not mandatory). Availability to work under mining shift regime (20 days on / 10 days off). RESPONSIBILITIES: Continuously verify reagent dosing during operation. Measure cyanide concentrations at the hydrocyclone overflow and at the leaching process outlet; perform dry sieve analysis twice per shift and wet sieve analysis hourly to determine gold particle liberation degree. Inspect collector screen condition every 2 hours to prevent screen breakage and carbon loss. Constantly monitor reagent stock levels. Inspect the entire work area and verify no unauthorized personnel are present. If no prepared reagent stock is available, prepare it according to the concentration agreed upon with the Plant Manager. Continuously check reagent dosing equipment to ensure proper functionality. Collect waste materials such as empty reagent bags, rags, etc., and sort them for disposal in the designated container. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Report any incidents if they occur. Carry out tasks assigned by the Plant Manager and/or Area Supervisor. Maintain quality standards that meet requirements and needs. Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations, raising awareness among all staff to achieve zero (0) accidents. Comply with waste disposal procedures according to environmental management system guidelines. Use personal protective equipment correctly in areas where it is required.
