Position Summary: We are seeking an Environmental Engineer with experience in the formulation, evaluation, and implementation of environmental studies and management for road and infrastructure projects. Technical coordination with sectoral entities and multidisciplinary teams. **Position:** Environmental Specialist **Location:** Arequipa **Work Mode:** On-site / Field **Minimum Experience:** 5 years **Professional Registration:** Mandatory (licensed) **Job Description:** An **Environmental Engineer** with proven experience in formulating, evaluating, and implementing environmental impact studies and environmental management for **road construction**, infrastructure projects, and activities related to the construction and mining sectors is required. The professional must demonstrate direct involvement as an **evaluator, formulator, or implementer** in at least **three environmental studies** within the relevant sector, ensuring compliance with current regulations and proper integration of environmental criteria into linear projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Preparation, review, and presentation of Environmental Impact Assessments and other applicable Environmental Management Instruments (EMIs) for **road projects**. * On-site environmental supervision during the execution of highways, access roads, upgrades, and complementary works. * Assessment of impacts associated with earthworks, quarry opening, waste disposal sites, and production plants. * Technical coordination with sectoral entities (MTC, ANA, OEFA, MINAM) and multidisciplinary teams. * Document management, compliance matrices, and specialized reporting. * Monitoring of environmental management measures and verification of commitments established in EMIs. **Requirements:** * Licensed and registered **Environmental Engineer**. * Minimum **five (05) years** of experience, supported by a registration certificate. * Participation in a minimum of **three (03)** environmental studies as formulator, evaluator, or implementer. * Specific experience in **road projects** (highways, access roads, platforms, linear works). * Up-to-date knowledge of sectoral regulations (MTC, OEFA, ANA, MINEM, PRODUCE). * Willingness to travel to project sites and work in the field. **Desired Competencies:** * Technical judgment for assessing impacts in linear projects. * Ability to produce high-level technical writing and reports. * Efficient management of environmental commitments and coordination with authorities. * Collaborative work with engineering, supervision, and contractor teams. Project Duration: 14 months Salary: S/.1,300.00 - S/.3,000.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
