




Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and responsible kitchen assistant to support food preparation, hygiene maintenance, and teamwork in the kitchen. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance in wok dish preparation and Peruvian cuisine 2. Maintaining a clean and organized work area 3. Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and styles **Main Responsibilities** * **Preparation of mise en place** (cutting, chopping, peeling, and portioning vegetables, meats, seafood, and other ingredients). * **Assistance in preparing dishes** on the wok and Peruvian cuisine under the supervision of the head chef. * **Maintaining a clean and organized work area**, complying with hygiene and sanitation standards. * **Cleaning and disinfecting utensils, equipment, and surfaces** according to protocols. * **Receiving and storing ingredients**, following FIFO rotation and freshness control. * **Assisting with portion control** and handling raw materials carefully to minimize waste. * **Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)** and safety regulations. * **Collaborating with the team** to ensure timely order fulfillment. * **Assisting with washing tableware or kitchenware** when required. * **Willingness to learn new techniques** and adapt to the restaurant’s various cooking styles. **Requirements** * Prior experience (minimum 3 months) in restaurant or fast-food kitchens (experience in wok and/or Peruvian cuisine preferred). * Basic knowledge of food handling and food safety. * Speed and willingness to work as part of a team. * Punctuality, responsibility, and a proactive attitude.
