Job Summary: GMI - Integrated Mining Management is seeking a Support Assistant to assist in the construction and reinforcement of mine supports underground. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the construction of mine supports 2. Prepare and secure the work area 3. Assist in the installation of reinforcements At GMI - Integrated Mining Management, a company dedicated to providing mining management and operational services, we are currently seeking: SUPPORT ASSISTANT Responsibilities Assist the Shotcrete Foreman in constructing supports. Prepare the work area by cleaning and securing the zone. Transport materials (bolts, mesh, timber) to the working face. Assist in the installation of various types of reinforcement. Requirements: Completed secondary education Minimum 3 months of experience as a mine assistant, timberman, support worker, or shotcrete worker. Experience working underground. Conditions: Availability to work in the central region under a 14-days-on/7-days-off work schedule. Payroll employment with all statutory benefits.
