At COMECO, we require Maintenance Mechanics for our projects or Chilca plant. **Requirements:** * Graduate technician in Maintenance Mechanics, Hydraulics, or related fields. * Knowledge of mining safety and environmental standards and regulations. * Familiarity with plant equipment (jaw crushers, cone crushers, screens, and conveyor belts) and replacement of wear parts for crushing equipment (mantles, concaves, jaws, side plates, etc.). * Ability to read mechanical and hydraulic drawings. * Knowledge of hydraulics. **Responsibilities:** * Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of plant equipment, optimizing resource utilization. * Inspect and maintain manual tools and area instrumentation in operational condition. * Actively participate in the cost-saving culture within plant equipment maintenance processes. * Provide technical support and participate in improvement activities or projects specific to the Maintenance department. * Report any safety or environmental incidents occurring within the work area. * Support and participate in audits and certifications, as well as develop maintenance instructions. * Generate spare parts requests for pending jobs (Backlogs). * Complete Work Orders with required details and accurate information to maintain a reliable history of plant equipment and instruments for decision-making. * Participate in assembly and disassembly operations of plant equipment. * Prepare reports of major tasks performed during the shift to ensure proper handover. * Generate daily event reports and those requested by supervisors. **Benefits:** * Formal employment with all statutory benefits. * 100% covered accommodation and meals. * Allowances. * Pleasant working environment.
